I'm working on a scifi strategy game with crew-, resource-, and robot-management combined with real-time combat and building elements.

Hello there! This is a subreddit focused on base building computer games. If you came here for real estate or fitness advice, you might be in the wrong place.

I decided to make a trailer for the game I've been working on. What do you think so far?

A few days ago, I created a first trailer of my game Frost Protocol. The game is far from finished or polished but I wanted to create any kind of trailer for my Steam page. Any suggestions on how to improve?

A community for solo developers to share, learn, and support each other. Solo devs manage their entire project alone—no teams, just individual effort. Using assets, outsourcing, or working with publishers is fine, but the core development should be solo. Anyone can participate, but posts promoting non-solo projects may be removed. The goal is to keep this space focused on true solo development, so members can compare experiences fairly and get relevant advice.

Working on new attack animations. Also, the expeditions will be heavily based on resource management. For example: Powerful attacks cost energy, which is limited. But tasks also require energy.

I added food, med kits, crafting and research materials, energy, and temperature... and then I took it all away. Scarcity leads to hard decisions. Your survivors will be sick, starving, cold, tired, and stressed.

Welcome to my crib! Last time I showed some combat and now it's time for some base management. Updated the interior and added a NavMesh for agent navigation. I'll be working on implementing these features in the next few days. How's the first impression? Any fatal mistakes so far?

I restructured my base and integrated it into the outside world. The rooms need MUCH more polish of course. Next: Adding tasks for my little humans
